Manager, Medical Affairs Analytics
The Manager, Medical Affairs Analytics will partner across Medical Affairs functions, as well as with Commercial and R&D to provide meaningful insights and analyses on the internal and external landscape of diseases areas and therapeutics, in order to help inform our assessment of external opportunities and shape both our internal and external therapeutic area strategies. Development of new ideas and cleaning up existing infrastructure will be paramount.
Job Responsibilities Include:
· Help identify data gaps and drive the translation of the therapeutic area strategies into Medical Affairs priorities
· Apply structured problem solving to collect, analyze and report therapeutic area analytics, incorporating primary and secondary data sources to generate actionable and strategic analytics
· Distill data into concise analysis/reports and presentations, with recommendations and implications to enable sound decision making for investing in external assets
· Act as an internal consultant and knowledge specialist to provide in-depth research of therapeutic area external landscape, competitive intelligence to support engaging in due diligence of targeted assets
· Work in a highly cross functional manner and manage changing priorities across several key customers
· Maintain a current awareness of developments in multiple Therapeutic Areas globally
Knowledge/Skills:
· Charismatic, energetic and passionate about analytics and business intelligence.
*SalesForce experience preferred (Tableau, Qlik or similar).
· Great interpersonal and customer service-oriented skills
· Demonstrated strong time management skills and the ability to manage projects, problem solve and communicate effectively with co-workers
· Attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently summarize and prioritize information

· Must be able to travel 10% - domestic and international
· May recruit, hire, and mentor exempt and nonexempt employees
· May be responsible for the supervision and performance reviews of any direct reports.
Specific Education and Experience Requirements:
· Typically requires a BS/BA and 7 years, MS/MA and 5 years years of relevant experience working in the pharma, biotech, or biopharma industry
· 3 years of managerial experience directly leading people and/or leadership experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources
· Experience in a rapidly changing environment is ideal
· Extensive business intelligence and data experience
